Mr. Castillo is a fourth grade math teacher.  He is a Houston native and is the middle child of five.  His interests include video, technology, music, cycling, billards, and photography.  Mr. Castillo received his Bachelors degree in Science at the University of Houston and in 2015 received his Masters degree in Counseling at St. Thomas University.  Mr. Castillo is double certified K-4 and 5-8 with an additional certificate in school counseling.  Mr. Castillo has been teaching since the fall of 2004.  Before coming to DeZavala, Mr. Castillo taught at Red Bluff Elementary, Morris Intermediate School, and at Edison Middle School.
