Hello,
I am one of the Construction Technology Teachers at Channelview High School
I teach Principles of Construction and Construction Technology I at the Kolarik Center.
I studied Hydrology/Water Resource Engineering at Tarleton State University in Stephenville Texas and recieved my B.S. From Excelsior College in Albany New York. I grew up in Seabrook Texas. I have lived in the area most of my life with the exception of 10 years when I lived in Fort Worth when I was in College and started working in Civil Engineering.
I have several years of experience in Civil Engineering, HVAC construction and HVAC manufacturing. I have many years of experience designing and creating plans for transportation, municipal, site and land development projects all over the Dallas Fort Worth and greater Houston area. After that I spent several years preforming NEBB Testing, Adjusting and Balancing of HVAC systems in commercial buildings. For the last 4 years, I ran a wind tunnel lab testing air control and life safety equipment used in HVAC systems. In these jobs, I saw a an increasing need for basic job skills and decided it was time for me to use my knowlege and experience to teach others. My conference time is 7:05 to 8:40 on a 'B" Schedule.
