I am a native Houstonian, where I attended Forest Brook HS. I served in the United States Navy for 3 years onboard the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) as an Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class. I returned home to Houston and joined the Houston Police Department where I served for 20 years before honorably retiring in 2014. While on the police department I was a patrolman for 15 years. I also served as a Field Training Instructor as well as a Field Training Evaluator. During my last 5 years, I worked in Human Resources as a Police Recruiter. In my spare time I enjoy coaching youth football and baseball.
