Aaron Allison is Lead Band Director for Channelview ISD, Head Band Director and Fine Arts Chair for Channelview High School.  He has been in this position since 2005.  Mr. Allison directs the Falcon Marching Band, Wind Ensemble and Concert Band.  He oversees four bands at the high school, two junior highs and six amazing other band directors.  DurIng his time at Channelview High School, the band has experienced success at the local and state level with marching band, concert band and Solo and Ensembles.  Since 2005, the program has tripled in size and includes over one thousand students in grades 6-12.  He was selected as Channelview ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year in Year in 2016-17 and 2017-18.  Before Channelview, Mr. Allison was Director of Instrumental Music at Golden High School in Golden, CO.  He directed the Golden Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra and Guitar. 

Aaron graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors in Music Education in 2002 where he studied with Dr. Gary Mortenson and Dr. Frank Tracz.  He is a member of The Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Band Masters Organization.  He currently lives in Houston with his wife Erin and three sons Macklen, Declan and Finnegan.
