My name is Marissa DeLaGarza, and I am a graduate of Channelview High School. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders. I worked as a special education inclusion aide, which inspired me to become a teacher. I received my teacher certification through Texas Teachers. I am currently in my fourth year of teaching. I enjoy teaching and learning so much that I decided to go back to school to earn my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction- Literacy Studies. Kindergarten is so much fun and helps your child learn the foundational skills they will need for 1st grade! I am very excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher!
