Open Enrollment/Transfer Renewal Applications are NOW OPEN!
Please submit only ONE application per student per school year to avoid delays in the approval process. Thank you for your cooperation!
PLEASE NOTE:
Applications will be considered based on: Academics, Behavior and Attendance
Transfer Request can be revoked at any time if the student does not adhere to the district expectations.
One application must be submitted annually per student.
Parent/Guardian must sign a Student Transfer Agreement included in the application process.
Transportation will not be provided by Channelview ISD.
Limited Open Enrollment - Renewal: Apply Now!
Limited Open Enrollment Renewal allows current enrolled students who do not reside in Channelview ISD to reapply for enrollment as a returning non-resident student wishing to stay in the District.
****If your student is NEW to CISD, please DO NOT fill out this Application.
To apply for the Open Enrollment Renewals, for the 2024-2025 school year, you will need your Skyward Username & Password.
**Please Note: Filling out this application does not guarantee approval. All approvals/denials will be communicated via email from campuses.
If your student is approved, you will need to submit the Annual Update, which will be announced at a later time.

Intra-district Transfer - Renewal: Apply Now!
A Parent/Guardian may renew the request that his or her student that is currently enrolled as an Intra-district transfer student, attend a campus in another attendance zone within Channelview ISD.
****If your student is NEW to CISD, please DO NOT fill out this Application.
To Apply for your returning student's Intra-District Transfer for the 2024-2025 school year, you will need your Skyward Username & Password.
**Please note: Submitting this application does not guarantee your child a seat at the desired campus. All approvals/denials will be communicated via email from campuses.
If your student is approved, you will need to submit the Annual Update, which will be announced at a later time.

Limited Open Enrollment allows students who do not reside in Channelview ISD to apply for enrollment; a non-resident student wishing to transfer into the District.

*A new student to Channelview ISD (not currently enrolled) will be required to attend their home campus (zoned school).
