Channelview ISD Board of Trustee meetings (Regular, Called or Board Workshops) are open to everyone and we encourage parent and community attendance. The Texas Open Meetings Act requires districts with student enrollment of 10,000 or more to make a “video and audio recording of reasonable quality of each regularly scheduled open meeting that is not a work session or a special called meeting.”  

CISD student enrollment is approximately 9,500 students, however, we offer live stream viewing for each regular monthly meeting on the third Tuesday of each month as a courtesy to our parents and community.
