Ms. McFarland is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, in New Orleans,

Louisiana. She received a B.A. from Loyola University. In addition, Ms. McFarland is a

graduate from the University of Houston (Main Campus) in Houston, Texas. She

received a degree from the University of Houston (M.Ed.). Furthermore, Ms. McFarland

has taken post graduate courses at DeVry University as well. Finally, she is a member of

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
