Hello, my name is Amalia Davila.  I will be teaching 5th grade Dual Language - English Language Arts.  This will be my 26th year teaching at Channelview ISD.  I have taught 4th and 5th grade at Brown Elementary and 4th grade at Cobb Elementary.

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where I majored in Interdisciplinary Studies.  

When I'm not busy with school work, you can find me spending time with my husband and family. I have two married children and five grandchildren.  A few other things I love to do are going on cruises, road trips, bird watching, arts and crafts, reading, and just learning new things.

My favorite teams are Astros, Texans, and college football.
