Hello scholars and parents! 

I am Tara Jones.  I received a B.S. in Business/Accounting in 2016.  Later in 2017, I decided to attend ACT Houston, a teacher alternative certification program, to become a teacher.  My certifications are Special Education EC-12 and Core Subjects 4-8 (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies). This is going to be my 19th year in Special Education. I worked for Fort Bend I.S.D. for 13 years and then decided to transition to Channelview I.S.D. in August 2018.  This will be my 6th year teaching at Alice Johnson Junior High. I was an ELA Enrichment/Inclusion Teacher for the first 5 years, and for this 23-24 school year, I am the ELA Resource Teacher.
