Hello Parents, Guardians, & Students!!! My name is Karla Henderson and I'll be the Lead ESL Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. I am a proud graduate of "The Best HBCU In The World"......PRAIRIE VIEW A&M UNIVERSITY!!! I recieved my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in 4-8 English Language Arts & Reading. This will be my 4th year teaching in CVISD and 7th year as a teacher. Throughout my teaching years, I have taught 6th-8th grade Reading, AVID, and ESL.

I am OVER THE HILL EXCITED to meet each and every one of you this year. My theme and motto for the is "OUR YEAR OF EXCELLENCE". My goal for the upcoming school year is to ensure that your child reaches his/her highest potentional, not only inside but outside of the classroom as well. I'm committed and passionate about teaching the neccessary tools for both academics & life.
