My name is Ms. Laura Garcia and I am a Skills for Learning and Living Teacher at AJJH.  I have 12 years experience as a teacher, 5 of which have been in Special Education.  I have a bachelor's degree in Education grades 4-8, a bachelor's degree in History and an associate's degree in Liberal Arts.  I am originally from El Paso, Tx and I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso.

I am certified in the state of Texas to teach General Subjects grades 4-8, Special Education, Bilingual and ESL.

I am excited to have the opportunity to get to know each one of you!  I am certain that we will have a wonderful and productive year!
