I am Cheryl Brown and I am tremendously excited to serve as your 8th Grade ELA teacher. I believe that the classroom should be a place where students feel welcome and are encouraged to soar; therefore this year will include interactive and fun activities as well as opportunities for students to share their individual talents. 

In addition to being an Internationally Board Certified Christian Counselor, I have earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Humanities, as well as a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. My next goal is to obtain my Doctoral Degree in Educational Administration.

As a servant-leader, I am commited to ensuring that this school year is filled with exciting learning adventures for each of my students. 

My expectations are that students come to class daily, on time, and prepared to participate in the learning adventure.

Respect for all will be modeled and reciprocity is the expectation.
