Welcome to Mrs. Bane's American history class. I have many fun and exciting learning activities planned for this year. For the first semester we will be learning how America was born, through understanding colonization, the American Revolution, the new nation and how government was structured according to the constitution. Then, in the second semester, we will continue to study the new nation and how we progressed through the reform movements on through to the causes of the Civil War, then ending with reconstruction after the Civil War. My hope is that each of my students leave my class with a new appreciation for America and gain a sense of pride for our country.  Again, I look forward to a fun-filled year. I hope you do too.
