Mr. Jones is a Chicago native and US Air Force veteran who worked in the Chicago Public Schools system for 12 years before relocating to Texas and joining the Aguirre Bulldog Nation in 2016. His Bachelor's degree is in Music Education from Eastern Washington University and his Master's degree is in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.

Under Mr. Jones, the Aguirre Bulldogs Choir program is thriving and consistently receive Superior ratings at UIL contests including several sweepstakes. The choir annually hosts a Christmas Concert, Spring Showcase and together with the Aguirre Band, they sponsor the Aguirre Hispanic Heritage and Black History Programs. They also regularly perform at school and district events.
